Guided Fly Fishing
Fish the Yakima with Someone Who Knows It Cold.
Our guides have spent thousands of days on this river. Whether you're chasing dry fly action in the canyon or nymphing the spring creek flats, we'll put you on fish.
Every Trip Is a Full Day of Local Knowledge.
The Yakima River is one of the most productive wild trout fisheries in the Pacific Northwest — over 1,000 fish per mile, year-round access, and hatches that rival anything in Montana. But it's also technical water. Knowing which runs hold fish in different flows, which flies to throw in each season, and how to read the canyon takes years of time on the water.
That's what you get when you book with Trout Slayers. Our guides fish this river every week. They know the Yakima the way most people know their own backyard — and they're genuinely invested in making your day on the water count.

Good to Know
Common Questions.
Do I need fly fishing experience?
Not at all. Our guides are patient teachers and will work with any skill level. That said, if you have some experience you'll likely land more fish — and we're happy to push experienced anglers into technical situations.
What should I bring?
Layers (the canyon can be cold in the morning even in summer), sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and a valid photo ID. We'll handle everything else. Bring your own rod if you prefer — just let us know in advance.
How do I book?
Contact us by phone, email, or the form below. We'll confirm availability, answer any questions, and lock in your date. A deposit is required to hold your trip.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund with 7+ days notice. 50% refund with 3–6 days notice. No refund within 48 hours. We'll always try to reschedule if weather or river conditions make fishing unsafe.
How many people can fish per boat?
Our drift boat comfortably fishes 1–2 anglers. For groups of 3 or more, we'll put multiple boats on the water. Contact us to arrange group trips.
